Yes, they are relevant.
The focus is on the ‚end-countries‘ for the NAMs. However, for us and the remaining SE Europe countries, it may be useful to have some research questions relevant to the transit countries.

1 – Yes they are relevant to me as a member of a cricket club and part of the organising committee.

2 – An additional focus on transit countries, as well as the effect of cultural exchange programs through different national sports would be of interest.

Yes, my club is involved in the work with migrants and refugees.
No

From my point of view, the questions are very relevant. I would not make any changes to the questions.

Very important
No.

All questions seem to be relevant, maybe a bit too abstract or general from a club´s perspective. I´d be most interessted to learn if migrants themselves see that sport programmes make a difference for them / help them to integrate

1: Yes, I think the questions are really important. My floorball club hasn’t got any experience with integration yet, but it seems to be a good chance for both sides.

2: No.

As a member of a wrestling club the questions are relevant for me and for my club as well. Honestly, I don’t know that much about existing programms, inititatives, measures to integrate migrants but I know that my club tries to integrate migrants without any plan and/or concept – sometimes that works, sometimes not.

The questions are relevant to the Swedish sports organisation but require implementation and long-term effect and needs to be founded in the intersectional perspective and as part of the inclusion work

    Lillemor Lindell · Januar 20, 2021 um 3:50 pm

    Question 2,
The suggestion is to include the intersectional perspective where it´s possible. New arrivals are more than just new arrivals, they are a man/women, youn/old, have a gender identity and sexual orientation, religion and function (possible disability) and often low socio-economic conditions. And focus on seeing the norms of sport that can counteract integration.

Lillemor Lindell · Januar 20, 2021 um 4:03 pm

Wants to get the result in form of a report, digital presentation and recorded/filmed presentation
For further dissemination and implementation, translation into the Swedish language of report is important to us and digital presentation.

Yes they are relevant. I wonder how do you define local sport clubs. Sport takes place in many places – informal, with municipal programs, through schools. Is there an age range you are looking at and will you compare the boys/girls experience

Clare Hanlon · Januar 31, 2021 um 2:07 am

Relevant questions, although it is important to note that ’not one size fits all‘. As recognised by the above respondent, an intersectional approach would be useful that identifies e.g., the needs of newly arrived migrant women that will potentially be different to newly arrived men, age related needs, etc.

Professor Hariz Halilovich · Februar 10, 2021 um 3:49 am

The questions are engaging, clear and well aligned with the project’s research foci.

Sabine Landau - DOSB · Februar 11, 2021 um 2:42 pm

Question 1: The questions are very relevant from our point of view cause they are the key questions we and our member organisations also face in our daily work.
Question 2: no

Tuba Boz · Februar 17, 2021 um 12:29 am

The questions are relevant and comprehensive.

Magnus Ferry · Februar 19, 2021 um 9:44 am

Very relevant
Newly arrived is amixed group of individuals with different backgrounds and characteristics

Lars Erik Espedalen · Februar 22, 2021 um 2:15 pm

This looks like a relevant and useful project for my research. Perhaps it also would be useful with some more contextual questions.

Rune S. · Februar 24, 2021 um 11:00 pm

The questions are relevant and reasonable.
We must take into consideration that many girls never have been active in sport. How do we implement them? And most of the refugees arriving come from low-income families. Sports can be expensive. How can we confront the economic issue and build sport for all?
